September 22, 2009 Dear, Katherine Serrano Hey Katherine, goodness gracious woman, haven’t spoke to you in forever and a minute. You’re going to have to tell me everything. Are you still in to music and art like you use to be? I miss when you played guitar for me. I need new hair cut and dye job. You’re going to have to fit me in your busy schedule. When is the next we’re going to have one of those ghetto bonfire’s with the candles. Hanging out with all our friends and such. Cracking jokes or helping everyone out. I miss you girly, you’re one cool cat. But lets’ get to business, how’s your junior year going so far? You have to get your stuff done. No fooling around like you did in your first couple years of high school. A birdie told me that you have fun classes and you’re doing well so far. I hope that’s true. I’m keeping an eye on you. What about writing? You need to read a dictionary or something because your spelling is just gnarly. Work on that girly.Are you writing your stories still? Work on the details. I love the story line, but I want pictures in my head when I read them. Also, when you read, make you sure you actually read. Understand the words, goodness girl. It’s like into your brain, and then escapes through your ear or something. You do read a lot, only the books you want to read. Your book case is dank. You need to broaden your verity though. You can only go so far, and learn so much with romance vampire novels. I’m worried about your concentration though, I should get you a muzzle. Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut, your eyes on the work and just get it done. Actually do well this year. Instead of just getting by, come on. Don’t let all the stupid high school drama get to you. Or boys, Boys shouldn’t even be on your half way list of things to cry about. You can do it! So when you’re all done with high school, I heard your mom is sending you to Australia? That’s going to be crazy. You’re going to have to let me visit. What are you going to do with yourself in five years? Are you still going to the fancy university in San Francisco? Have you decided if it’s going be for art or photography?Are going to take pictures of the music world? Or are you going to be the one people are going to be taking pictures of? Cutting the rock stars hair, and fixing there make up? Whatever it is, I’m sure that you’re going to be great at it. What about in ten years? I’m sure you’re going to have beautiful children and the best husband known to mankind. Miss Katherine, I’m sure through it all, you’ll do great. With all your great friends and family you have.
